Hundreds of steel executives will be convening at the Grandior Hotel in Prague for the start of the Future Steel Forum, running from 8-9 June 2022.  You can expect a high-quality conference, that looks to answer the key theme of 'can digitalization aid decarbonization'.

You might remember Juan Bermúdez Sirvent from last year when he presented Mill Pulse®—a digitalization tool designed to improve steel production by interlinking the process and maintenance with business goals—during Perspectives on Rolling, Steel Times International’s rolling webinar.

About Juan Bermúdez
Juan has over 15 years experience in MES consulting and implementation and has worked for many companies in the steel sector including Ternium, Gerdau and Celsa as well as organisations in steel-related sectors, such as GE Nuclear and Gonvarri.

Bermúdez has participated and led large international projects for the implementation of MES for companies in the steel and energy sector.

His experience includes SCADA system development projects, MES implementations and production control and management.

Juan is a mechatronics engineer with a specialization in industrial automation from the Monterrey Institute of Technology – Monterrey Campus.
About Juan Kessler
Juan is Russula's Sales Director, and he has worked during his whole professional life under the motto:” be passionate about your daily job by learning from everyone, sharing ideas and not being afraid about failure”. Since early beginning, hard work, constancy and effort were his tools to grow as a professional.

Currently, clients are the keystone of his daily work. By knowing their needs and preference, he is able to adjust the product to each market and client. He seeks for clients, seeks for new products for his clients, and I seek for new markets with new clients. Currently he must manage a mature product in a niche market (steel industry), adding value to the final product by pushing I+D and at the same time increasing the business volume of Water Solutions Division with new clients and products. An international and global challenge only reachable with passion, hard work and…never being afraid about failure”
